Testbed
You have told us that you value time and space to work
with other Creative Practitioners, so we’ve had this great idea called Testbed. It is the chance for you to spend a day with a small group of other Creative Practitioners, testing out ideas and techniques, learning from each other, having some fun and making space for small ideas to grow into fabulous ones. Each Testbed will be facilitated by an experienced ICP partner to make sure everything runs smoothly. All you will need to bring is a willingness to participate…And don’t worry if you don’t have a particular idea to test out – the Testbed is a place where ideas are found in the strangest of places..!

These first Testbeds will be free ( to Members only) on a first-come first served basis. There will be 10 places available on each one. All we ask is that you don’t drop out at the last minute, as this prevents other Members from taking part. Please email admin@creativepractice.org.uk to reserve your place (don’t forget to tell us which one you’d like to come to!)
Hosted Testbeds Occasionally we will invite a well known practitioner or artist to host a Testbed of their own and Members will have the chance to work with someone whose work they admire or find interesting…watch this space for announcements about our first Hosted Testbed.

Who do we think we are? 
These events are for Members who want to engage with policy makers and funders in a new way, without being tied to conversations about specific funding applications or projects. Who Do We Think We Are? will make the link between policy and practice and encourage dialogue between those who do and those who decide. Tell us who you would like to talk to (email sue@creativepractice.org.uk) and we will try to arrange it. In the meantime, we’re working on the first one…so watch this space!

We’d like to feature you and your work on the ICP website and every month we will have a guest writer or interview. If you have something to share with other Members and would like to be featured in text, sound or video just email sue@creativepractice.org.uk with an outline of what you’d like to offer. This could be a case study, a rant about an issue that’s really bothering you or perhaps a reflection on some recent work that was particularly meaningful.We cannot promise to take up every offer, but please don’t be shy about coming forward – this is YOUR space.
